Ranu Gumbolo is a top tourist spot in Tulungagung that features a stunning lake with green waters and a beautiful pine forest. Many find that the natural ambiance of Ranu Gumbolo is akin to that of Ranu Kumbolo lake in the Mount Semeru tourist region. However, those in Tulungagung and surroundings areas who wish to experience natural surroundings comparable to Mount Semeru can explore Ranu Gumbolo Tulungagung.

This spot became a tourist area in 2016 and it's a popular destination for both local and international visitors. Ranu Gumbolo Tulungagung is situated at an elevation of approximately 182 meters above sea level, which means the air is refreshingly cool.

Ranu Gumbolo is in the west of Tulungagung, specifically in Wonorejo Village of Pagerwojo District in East Java.

Don't worry about finding a place to park your vehicle. We have parking attendants and adequate security measures in place. The parking fee is 2,000 rupiah for two-wheeled vehicles and 5,000 rupiah for four-wheeled vehicles.

For weekday entrances to Ranu Gumbolo, the fee is 6,000 rupiah, while on holidays and weekends it is 8,000 rupiah. Ranu Gumbolo is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The facilities are well maintained and in good condition. Parking, restrooms and food vendors are available. Visitors can also choose from many activities, from just relaxing under a tree or in a gazebo, fishing, cruising the river on a water bike, taking pictures at Instagramable spots, to setting up tents on the riverbank. If you run out of places to rest, you can set up a hammock in the pine forest for free or rent it for Rp5,000.

For tourists who want to take pictures just to upload on social media or take pictures for pre-wedding, Ranu Gumbolo can be a reference for you because the natural nuances here are very beautiful and have their own characteristics.

Tourists can take pictures among hundreds of pine trees and feel aesthetic. In addition, there is also a photo spot on top of a pine tree with the background of the Wonorejo Reservoir at the observation post.

I recommend you to take this tour in the morning or afternoon to get a cool atmosphere. The cool atmosphere will make us calm because this place is still natural. To get the best experience, I recommend you to come on weekdays, because on these days there are not too many visitors, so it will make you more free to enjoy the tour. However, for those of you who want to relax after a long day at work, you can also visit this place on weekends as a means of "refreshing".
